My name is Erin and I make things. Lots and lots of things. I’m happiest when I’m in the middle of project chaos with paint in my hair or dirt under my fingernails.
I have always been an artist, a creator, a writer and a publisher. I started this blog in January 2010 as a way to chronicle my creative projects and document the transformation of our 86-year-old brick cottage-style home in St. Louis, Missouri. (More about this blog’s origin story here >>)
As in any old home, there’s always something around here to fix or fix-up, but I love every minute of it. I have the secret ability to take something cheap and make it look expensive. I love making something out of nothing, using odds and ends, leftovers, fabric remnants, clearance scores and thrifted finds.
In August 2013, I opened a microbusiness selling art and home decor.
